Welcome to Karl-Ivar’s Guided Tours!
You have read about it, you have seen the photos, you have seen the videos. Now come and see it all for yourself, in real life! And while you’re at it, bring your camera!
The Aurora Borealis or The Northern Lights is one of nature’s most spectacular phenomenon. It can’t be described, it has to be experienced. To get the best view of it you have to have a clear view of the sky, little or non light pollution and of course fair weather. I can help you with the first two, plus another one, for bonus.
Bring your camera, or don’t!
I don’t know how to control the weather, but what I do know is all the best locations for viewing and photographing Aurora Borealis in the vicinity of Tromsø, Norway. That’s a bonus. Not only do I know the locations, I also have great experience in photographing and I’m more than glad to help you. Don’t want to take pictures? No problem. You won’t forget seeing Aurora Borealis anyway!
Karl-Ivar’s Guided Tours are made for you. I believe that guiding a small group of people is the only way of giving a personal and valuable experience to each and one of you. My guided group tours consists of no more than 15 people, excluding myself and my partner.
We will travel by one or two cars, depending on how big the group is.
Included: Hot soup, tea, bread, warm clothes, cap, gloves, head lamp, tripod, and reflective vest.
